About this deal

According to the manufacturer info, it is a real multi-tasker, including the ability to prevent pigments settling during storage, stabilizing a formula for longer, creating a light and smooth skin feel and enhancing the water-resistance of sunscreen formulas. Well, I don’t see a strong colour correcting effect but the colour is perfect for my skintone which is really evened out.

If you are someone who likes to know what you put on your face then fragrance is not your best friend - there's no way to know what’s really in it.I did wonder why they haven’t kept the same shade numbers from their foundations (51/52/53) but never mind, there are 3 shades to choose from so it shouldn’t be too difficult to find the one to suit you.

on my visit to Sephora Black Friday sale, I found this Bourjois CC Cream in Bronze (no 34), most Bourjois counter only sells no. It’s a common fragrance ingredient that is one of the “EU 26 fragrances” that has to be labelled separately (and cannot be simply included in the term “fragrance/perfume” on the label) because of allergen potential.Since I was in need of some new daytime face products and this one came so highly recommended; I felt that I just had to try it out!

The Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream is a lightweight foundation with effective colour correcting pigments, that dries on skin to a semi-matte finish. You also need to set this with powder unless so you won’t turned into a grease ball after a few hours. It lasts so well throughout the day but feels so light on the skin, I don’t powder it and I find that it doesn’t move throughout the day. This one offers me enough coverage to wear in place of foundation and I’d describe it as light-medium coverage: it gives me a fresh, even finish without looking overly made up. However, you may notice how the shade is also a little peachier, which I attribute to the apricot tones it contains, that brightens the skin, thereby combating the appearance of fatigue.Coverage is pretty decent (this was with very little product) for a CC Cream, which is why I say it’s as good as wearing foundation. It can be used in many types of formulations as it has great thermal stability (can be heated up to 85°C) and works on a wide range of pH levels (ph 3-10). Not only does this eye cream brighten up those nasty dark circles but the silicone nib used for application is perfect for your eye area.
