About this deal

When repeatedly punching holes with the Big Bite in a pattern, it is a little difficult to line up with precision. But mine (CAD, the Big Bite lives on the floor) is one of the tools I keep on my desk because then I can always find it when I'm looking for it, and that's more often than you might expect. Multi material tool, punches paper, leather, thin foil, fabric, EVA foam, plastic… To make the perforations, both edges of the tool must be used, each one for a different hole size. The Big Bite sits neatly and solidly on the table top and is a user friendlier alternative to the hand held smaller Crop-A-Dile for Crafters who might have difficulty squeezing a one-hand operated punch.

I do still use eyelets - not every day, but from time to time, and especially on interactive cards and tags. the crop a dile will only go about an inch or so into a page, the big bite will go the middle of a 12 x 12 page.We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others.

I also find it great for punching holes in ribbon for putting a brad through - with ribbon like grosgrain or twill it's easier than trying to make a good hole with a knife blade. It was due to the extended flaps for the backpack bottom (for closing) that I could have used the Big Bite to make it easier (due to the longer reach). A popular theme on the scrapbooking market is manufacturers always trying to come up with great new eyelet setting tools. On another thread we were discussing brads and eyelets, and I happened to be setting some eyelets that weekend. It does take some strength to slightly adjust the bite of the Big Bite so that they do line up but I was glad to find that it is a problem that is fairly easily solved. If we have reason to believe you are operating your account from a sanctioned location, such as any of the places listed above, or are otherwise in violation of any economic sanction or trade restriction, we may suspend or terminate your use of our Services.

I cut a long, narrow “U” shape in a piece (my piece was 3″tallX4″wide) of foam board about halfway down the height of my photo box. You could make a box where you put the ribbon inside and don’t use dowels, like those squishy clear ribbon boxes with the holes all over it. I have much better luck and use it more often since I can rest it on the table and push down with one hand. I watched a YouTube where the demo showed how you could see where you were punching with the Big Bite by turning it over (meaning holding that big thing upside down in your hand) and that did concern me. If you need help remembering the correct combinations to use with each type of eyelet, the original Crop-a-dile on-line tip sheet can help you with that.It has a 6″ reach, which means you can punch a whole anywhere you want on a 12×12 piece of paper rather than just along the edge. Rotating setting blocks and action setter help you do what you want to do without fumbling around for loose pieces.
